Instructors: Switzerland only
The allowed instructor market country is Switzerland (CH).
Roundwork AI currently operates as a Switzerland-first marketplace. If an instructor or a paid checkout is outside that market, signup and payout setup can be blocked. This is a server-side market gate, not a marketing slogan.
EU/EEA consumers still have a statutory withdrawal right described in the Terms (§10a). Swiss residents follow the platform cancel rules instead. Expansion to other countries is not a self-serve toggle.
Why Switzerland first
Operator, currency and VAT in one place
The operator is Melzer Labs in Kreuzlingen. Plans are billed in CHF or EUR.
Most coaching tools are built for a global SaaS market and leave Swiss VAT, payouts and German/English copy as an afterthought. Roundwork AI is operated from Kreuzlingen TG and documents how credits, commissions and MWST work for Swiss coaches.
That does not mean Swiss-only hosting. Application data is processed with Google Cloud/Firebase and other named sub-processors under the privacy policy. The market gate is about who can sell on the platform, not where servers sit.

Roundwork AI is for coaches who want a public booking page, prepaid credits, and payouts on their own Stripe account — without stitching a website builder, a scheduler and payment links together.
It is not a general marketplace that sells lessons as the merchant of record. Each partner is the merchant of record for credit packs and the underlying lesson.

Questions about the Swiss market
Can I use Roundwork AI as a coach based in Germany or the EU?
Not as a self-serve instructor today. The instructor market country is Switzerland. EU/EEA consumers who still reach the product keep their statutory withdrawal rights under the Terms.
Is Roundwork AI only for Swiss-German coaches?
The product UI and public pages ship in German and English. The market restriction is the country (CH), not the language.
Does “Switzerland-first” mean data stays in Switzerland?
No. Hosting and sub-processors are listed in the privacy policy (Google Cloud/Firebase, Stripe, Zoom and others, EU/US with contractual safeguards). The data-security page explains that we do not claim Swiss-only hosting.
When will Roundwork AI open other countries?
There is no self-serve expansion toggle. Do not treat marketing copy as a promise of EU-wide payouts or listings.
